Eww, Mouth pictures

Not the most flattering things, but many people have asked me how I knew my gums were recessed enough to need surgery. Here's a before and after (one month later!) for you to see for yourself what $924 can buy these days.

My 'new' gum doesn't cover all the way up to my enamel, but does cover better; and is thicker. It was extremely thin in the front. I have another follow-up appt. next week, I'll try to remember to ask what caused my gum recession.
